On 25 May in Brussels, the European Commission and FRA presented their reports on the implementation of the Charter and the fundamental rights situation in the EU to the EU Council’s Working Party on Fundamental Rights, Citizens Rights and Free Movement of Persons (FREMP).
FRA presented the Portuguese translation of its Handbook on European Law relating to the Rights of the Child at a congress organised by the Portuguese Association for the Promotion of Human Dignity on 24-25 May at the Calouste Gulbelkian Foundation in Lisbon.
No child should suffer violence, abuse or exploitation. Children have the same right to protection and care as adults. As fully-fledged rights holders, this is non-negotiable. Today, the International Day for the Protection of Children, is the perfect time to reaffirm this.
