Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe’s Committee on Equality and Non-discrimination will visit FRA on October 24 to discuss the right to political participation of people with disabilities.
The Agency will contribute to a peer-learning seminar in Vienna from 27 to 28 October on how educators can be better prepared to help develop the awareness of fundamental rights and values of learners.
On 28 October, the Ombudsman of the Republic of Latvia will hold two seminars in cooperation with the Agency in Riga to present the Latvian version of the Handbook of European Law relating to the Rights of the Child.
The OSCE's Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) will host a high-level expert seminar on 31 October in Helsinki on participation of people with disabilities in political and public life.
The Agency will present the key findings of its Fundamental Rights Report 2016 in Ljubljana on 22 November at a conference co-organised by the Faculty of Law of the University of Ljubljana and the Institute of Criminology of the Faculty of Law of the University of Ljubljana.
