FRA presented a few examples of how the lack of an immediate human contact in the border procedure may have an impact on fundamental rights. For instance, it may impact possibilities to establish whether the relationship of a child with the accompanying adult is genuine or not. The lack of human judgement may also impact possibilities to identify victims of trafficking. FRA also highlighted the requirements of elderly and disabled persons when using ABC gates as well as the right to information on how personal data is used and access to remedies against wrongful use
