The Swedish Presidency of the EU in cooperation with the European Commission organised the event in Stockholm.
At the event, FRA also moderated a panel debate on policymaking with a focus on LGBTI youth and education.
On 13 April, FRA then took part in the meeting of the LGBTI Equality Subgroup. The group is composed of governmental experts, nominated by Member States’ governments, to support and monitor progress of the protection of LGBTIQ people’s rights across the EU.
