Článek 21 - Zákaz diskriminace

  1. Zakazuje se jakákoli diskriminace založená zejména na pohlaví, rase, barvě pleti, etnickém nebo sociálním původu, genetických rysech, jazyku, náboženském vyznání nebo přesvědčení, politických názorech či jakýchkoli jiných názorech, příslušnosti k národnostní menšině, majetku, narození, zdravotním postižení, věku nebo sexuální orientaci.
  2. V oblasti působnosti Smluv, a aniž jsou dotčena jejich zvláštní ustanovení, se zakazuje jakákoli diskriminace na základě státní příslušnosti.

    Section 6 Equality Everyone is equal before the law. Lapsia on kohdeltava tasa-arvoisesti yksilöinä, ja heidän tulee saada vaikuttaa itseään koskeviin asioihin kehitystään vastaavasti. Sukupuolten tasa-arvoa edistetään yhteiskunnallisessa toiminnassa sekä työelämässä, erityisesti palkkauksesta ja muista palvelussuhteen ehdoista määrättäessä, sen mukaan kuin lailla tarkemmin säädetään.
