FRA to host expert meeting on cybercrime and fundamental rights

The agency will host, in cooperation with the Council of Europe, the second expert meeting on cybercrime and fundamental rights from 14 to 15 May.

FRA has invited experts from relevant European and international stakeholders on the fight against cybercrime.

These include the European Commission, the cybercrime division of the Council of Europe, EU agencies such as Europol, Eurojust, and ENISA, the European Judicial Network, the UN Office on Drugs and Crime, the OSCE as well as representatives of national prosecution services.

This meeting will discuss the scope, target group and relevant content of the future Handbook on European law relating cybercrime and fundamental rights following the outcome of the first expert meeting in Bucharest from 15 to 16 November 2018.
