The meeting will discuss the key role that the EU can play towards advancing the 2030 agenda and will feed into a European Commission reflection paper.
The European Commission’s First Vice-President and Italy’s Prime Minister will give keynote speeches at the event.
Two focused high-level dialogues round tables will address the role of the private sector in achieving the SDGs in Europe as well as climate change, the circular economy, innovation and the social pillar: key instruments for achieving sustainable development.
FRA is actively supporting the EU’s and national efforts to report on the progress they are making in respect to SDGs. Many FRA studies include data relevant to a range of SDG indicators in relation to areas such as violence against women, inequalities and poverty.
