FRA will deliver a keynote speech at a symposium organised by the Austrian Parliament to mark the adoption of the new EU Directives on standards for equality bodies. FRA will speak about the role of equality bodies in providing access to justice for victims of discrimination.

While FRA survey results have shown that people who have experienced discrimination are insufficiently aware of equality bodies and their services, the Agency will highlight the opportunities arising from the new EU standards for equality bodies. 

The symposium takes place on 25 September in Vienna.
