Key facts of the case:
The appellants, who are all unaccompanied minors and unrelated, arrived in the United Kingdom as unaccompanied minors and claimed asylum. Each one had previously claimed asylum in another Member State. MA initially claimed asylum in Italy, BT initially claimed asylum in Italy and DA initially claimed asylum in the Netherlands. None of the appellants had any member of his or her family legally present in another Member State.
