Key findings
Racism and xenophobia are spreading since mass arrivals of refugees into Slovenia. There are more and more irresponsible, xenophobic and racist statements, which have become a part of public communication. Legitimacy to this kind of hate speech derives from politicians and public figures that do not condemn this kind of statements. It is therefore crucial that we start to talk about an accountability – so that we can expect from our political representatives to denounce and criticize anti-migrant hate speech.
