Key findings

The aim of the research is to find out notions of residents about different aspects of life in Riga. Only 4,6% of repondents are willing to be in close relation with persons of different racial background, 3,5% with representatives of other religion, e.g. Muslims and others. 39% want to have contact with persons of different racial background only as tourists, 4,1% do not want such persons to enter the country. 34,6% want to have contact with representatives of other religion only as tourists, 8,7% do not want such persons to enter the country.

Quantitative survey - Direct interviews with respondents conducted from May to June 2014

800 respondents, residents of Riga, aged 18 - 74, stratified random sampling
