The ACAT has identified several cases of serious injuries that have occurred during operations to evacuate illegally occupied dwellings. Violent acts were reported during the evacuation of camps of Roma in Marseille and the Paris region. In Calais, police harassment of migrants had been criticised.

The analysis of 89 alleged situations of police violence in France from 2005 to 2015, based on the documentation available on the subject (institutional, association and parliamentary reports, sociological and medical studies, court decisions, press articles, etc.) .
