Key findings

The aim of the survey was to find out the opinion of residents about different aspects of life in Riga, including integration and tolerance. It showed that 5% of the respondents would exclude from entry into Latvia persons with different religious belief, e.g. Muslims, 4% would exclude from entry asylum seekers/refugees, 3% would exclude persons of different race. 35% of Riga residents would accept asylum seekers or refugees only as tourists, 14% respondents would accept as tourists people with other racial background, 12 % - persons with different religious belief, e.g. Muslims
