The Report summarizes CNCD’s activity in 2017, including the number of petitions received by the Equality Body, with a breakdown by field and category. It concludes that, in terms of grounds, most petitions received refer to discrimination on account of “social category”, while the fewest (only 2) to “race”. Furthermore, the majority of petitions involving discrimination refer to access to employment/profession – 273 out of 682. The Report also includes references to CNCD’s activity before courts of law, participation in international meetings and regional fora, such as EQUINET. It does not contain specific references to activities or cases in 2017 involving Muslims, migrants or refugees.
