Religion: Monitored but least affected by hate speech. The authors recognize Albania for religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence and outline the positive example of neutral media coverage of the Quran burning incident in Sweden, including Pope Francis' condemnation. The report shows Albania maintains high religious tolerance with few instances of hate speech toward religious groups.
Gender: Increased hate speech against women in media and public figures.
Ethnicity: Rise in hate speech against migrants, refugees, Serbs, Greeks, and Roma.
LGBTQ+: Ongoing harmful stereotypes in media.
Media: Major source of hate speech, reinforcing discriminatory stereotypes.
Civil Society: Greater awareness and proactive responses from organizations.
Positive Developments: Improved media regulation and higher civil society engagement.
