Structured cooperation with partners at national level

• Makes an annual report to the Oireachtas.
• Makes observations to all government departments on proposed legislation that has significant human rights or equality implications.
• Advises on the compatibility of proposed policy with human rights and equality upon request.
• Member of the national Equality Data Strategy Working Group and of the Worker and Employer Advisory Committee.

• Member of the European Network of Equality Bodies (Equinet), the European Network of National Human Rights Institutions (ENNHRI) and the Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions (GANHRI).
