Human rights capacity support

- Based on need, the committee consults representatives from government ministries or experts in the field and also involves civil society.
Functions
- A committee of 14 members of parliament representing all elected parties.
- Cooperates with EU institutions and the parliaments of other EU Member States, assesses and approves the national position before the European Council, oversees EU funding use, involves non-governmental organisations in EU processes and reviews EU-related legal drafts.
