- Established the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, which is responsible for coordinating reforms on human trafficking, prostitution and cannabis. This includes consulting the relevant stakeholders, gathering information, drafting policy proposals and streamlining existing structures and services.
- Supports the recently convened Anti-Racism Platform, which is composed of representatives from civil society, academia and social partners.
Structured cooperation with partners at international and EU level
- The directorate’s Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, Gender Expression and Sex Characteristics Unit participates in the EU’s High-Level Group on Non-discrimination, Equality and Diversity and the group’s LGBTIQ Equality Subgroup, created with the aim of supporting the adoption of national action plans and facilitating the sharing of good practices.
