FRA will take part in the conference ‘The future tested: Towards a Smart Borders reality’ in Tallinn, Estonia on 8 October.
This annual event of eu-LISA, the EU agency for large-scale justice and home affairs IT systems, will focus on the findings of its Smart Borders pilot project, in the context of which FRA carried out a fundamental rights survey. FRA will take part in the panel discussion 'What now? – Learning from the Smart Borders pilot’. The one-day conference will bring together up to 140 delegates from EU institutions and agencies, national authorities of EU Member States, international organisations, academia and other stakeholders.
