Training for judges and magistrates looks at hate crime and discrimination

FRA will give a presentation at a training course in Madrid from 26 to 28 October for judges and magistrates on hate crime and discrimination, organised by the Spanish General Council of the Judiciary.

The course will look into judicial practices in combating hate crime at the national and European context. The fundamental rights perspective will also be covered. The training has been organised in the framework of the Programme for Continuous Education of the Judiciary for 2015 as part of the Spain’s broader State Plan for Education of the Judiciary.
