FRA has invited training coordinators from EU Justice and Home Affairs agencies to a meeting on 14 June in Vienna.
The main objective is to strengthen coordination and cooperation of these agencies in relation to training. It will seek to explore how can agencies coordinate their responses to meet the emerging training needs in relation to the current migration movements.
Representatives from the EU Border agency (Frontex), the European External Action Service, the European Agency for managing large-scale justice and home affairs IT systems (eu-LISA), the European Police College (CEPOL), the EU drugs agency (EMCDDA) and the EU's Judicial Cooperation Unit (Eurojust) will discuss joint training responses. The European Judicial Training Network is also invited to provide input and to jointly assess areas of possible cooperation with the agencies.
