International conference explores the politics of hate

On 24-26 May, FRA will present its work on hate crime at the International Network for Hate Studies and the Hate and Hostility Research Group conference at the University of Limerick.

The conference 'The Politics of Hate: Community, Societal and Global Responses' will address broad themes such as how are hate and hate crime experienced at the global and community level? What are the latest international policy developments? What is the influence of those developments on national efforts to understand and tackle hate crime? The conference is for scholars, civil society organisations, public service providers, practitioners and policy makers who are working on ways to better understand and combat hate crime.
