On 18 March, FRA will take part in a workshop in Florence to discuss the everyday experiences, problems, perspectives of National Human Rights Bodies using the EU’s Fundamental Rights Charter.
During the event, FRA will give a presentation on the role of the NHRBs in assessing the compatibility of national acts with the Charter as well as its pilot online fundamental rights information tool, Clarity. The workshop is being organised by the EU-funded CharterClick! project. The project is developing an online, freely accessible platform with tools aimed at improving the understanding of whether and how reliance on the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights can be of help in a specific case.
