The Agency will contribute to a workshop in Brussels on 9 February organised by the European Network for Rural Development.
Entitled 'Social Hubs in Rural Europe', the event will explore existing hubs and initiatives existing across Europe on social inclusion and demographic change. It will particularly address the integration of migrants and refugees, and the role of arts and culture to promote social inclusion in rural areas.
The network was established in 2008 by the European Commission to bring together all the stakeholders aiming to improve rural development in the EU. It supports the effective implementation of EU Member States' Rural Development Programmes through knowledge-sharing, information exchange and cooperation across rural Europe.
