The FRA Director will give the closing speech at a conference on refugees organised by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) and the Holy See.
The conference on 17 February in Rome will look at refugee policies from 1933 until today focusing on challenges and responsibilities. It will bring together experts in Holocaust history and contemporary policy makers. It aims to come up with a concrete set of recommendations for international policy makers endorsed by the Alliance and the Holy See. The Alliance brings together 31 Member Countries, 11 Observer Countries, and seven permanent international partner organisations such as FRA.
