The working group will take place during the Danube Participation Day, in Budapest on 17 October, hosted by Andrássy University. The day is part of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region. The conference’s theme is science meeting participation, innovation and sustainability. One of its main aims will be to discuss the agenda for participation in EU Macro-Regional strategies. In particular, workshops will address how participation can mobilise, involve and empower a broad range of local actors, NGOs, EU institutions and other organisations in developing concrete initiatives and projects.
