New FRA Management Board meets

From 27 to 29 September, the newest members of FRA’s Management Board will come together for the first time.

New members and alternate members replaced in July 2017 almost half of the members whose term of office had ended. Together they will examine FRA’s role in strengthening and protecting a Europe of values. To do this they will take stock of the Agency’s achievements based on the preliminary results of FRA’s 2nd external evaluation. They will also reflect on FRA’s strategic direction during the period covered by the next Multiannual Framework 2018-2022. In addition, they will elect a Vice-Chairperson of the Management Board and a new Executive Board member. Furthermore, the Management Board will decide on the topic for the focus section of the Agency’s Fundamental Rights Report 2018. The meeting will be followed by a short meeting of the newly-composed Executive Board.
