The subgroup aims to suggest core elements for a methodology that can record and collect data on hate crime incidents, improve data comparability across the Member States, and can be used by Member States. At this meeting, the subgroup will finalise the draft paper on recording hate crime that contains suggested practices for frontline law enforcement officers. The draft paper will then be submitted to the EU High Level Group on combating racism, xenophobia and other forms of intolerance. The next steps in the upcoming testing of the core elements identified will also be a point of discussion among subgroup members.
