Various National Preventive Mechanisms from different countries will discuss possibilities and what is needed in order to create a comparative tool on conditions of detention and human rights implications. The Agency will present its ongoing project on Criminal Detention in the EU, which will focus on fundamental rights of detainees subjected to transfer to other EU Member States. The meeting is being co-organised by the Council of Europe, European Commission, FRA and the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights.
