Anti-Gypsyism under the spotlight during EU Roma week

During EU Roma week, the FRA Director will address the European Parliament’s anti-Gypsyism event in Brussels on 10 April.

He will draw on findings from the Agency’s new report on the issue that was requested by the Parliament as part of its Resolution to help fight anti-Gypsyism. Using data from FRA’s 2011 and 2016 surveys, the report underlines a lack of progress despite the resources invested in Roma inclusion by the European Commission and the Member States. It also looks at the impact of anti-Gypsyism and measures to address it.
