The Agency will moderate a panel discussion examining the lessons learned when implementing the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights’ EU-funded project ‘Building a comprehensive criminal justice response to hate crime’.
The discussion will be part of the final project meeting, which will be held in Vienna on 14 November. The project aimed at enhancing the capacity of professionals to develop comprehensive criminal justice responses to hate crime in Bulgaria, Greece, Italy and Poland. The project was tailored to the needs of each country, ranging from training of criminal justice professionals to data collection concerning the experiences of hate crime victims.
On 15 November, FRA will then join the annual meeting of ODIHR’s National Points of Contact on hate crime. It will speak about FRA-ODIHR workshops on improving how law enforcement records hate crime.
