The Agency will take part in a conference on human rights in a digital age in Geneva on 24 May.
The event takes place in the framework of the Human Rights, Big Data and Technology project, based at the University of Essex’s Human Rights Centre. The project is mapping and analysing the challenges and opportunities presented by the use of big data and associated technologies from a human rights perspective.
The conference brings together participants from governments, business corporations, civil society, human rights practitioners and academia. The Agency will join panel discussions on the risks and challenges to human rights in the digital age with respect to privacy, freedom of expression and non-discrimination.
