The United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) regularly invites regional offices responsible for promoting and protecting human rights to consultations on how to coordinate their work better.

The agency will participate in the series of events in Washington D.C. from 7 to 8 December. They include a coordination meeting of the Focal Points of Regional Human Rights Mechanisms and a consultation among regional human rights offices on combating racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and other related intolerance.

FRA will present findings from its large scale survey on migrants and minorities, and its work on the Sustainable Development Goals.

The events are being organised by the OHCHR’s Inter-American Commission on Human Rights.
