On 6 September, the Agency will take part in a panel debate on how to effectively protect child victims of crime.
The panel debate is organised by the Vienna Centre for Societal Security. It will present the new EU-funded project E-PROTECT (Enhancing Protection of Child Victims of Crime). E-PROTECT aims at optimising the implementation of the EU’s Victims’ Directive in Member States.
This includes developing an online platform providing in-depth information and facilitating exchange among experts. There will be a particular focus on individual needs assessments. Austria, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy and Romania are involved in the project.
