ERA summer course on human rights and rule of law

The Agency will present its work in the area of access to justice at the Academy of European Law's (ERA) Summer Course on Human Rights and the Rule of Law in the EU in Trier on 20 June.

The event’s main objective is to provide a thorough introduction to human rights law and the rule of law in the EU. It will focus on such issues as Article 7 procedure, conditionality of regional aid/structural funds; better law-making; transparency of the legislative process in the EU; right to information in the EU; independence and authority of the judiciary; access to a court and fair trial guarantees; and external dimension of human rights in the EU.
