Eurochild’s conference looks to build a better Europe with children

The Agency will speak during the closing panel of this year’s Eurochild Conference which takes place in Opajtija, Croatia, from 29 to 31 October.

The conference has been jointly designed with children. It will bring together practitioners, researchers, civil society actors, policy and decision makers along with children and young people themselves to contribute to improving children’s participation in public decision making.

The Agency will refer to own experiences of mainstreaming child participation in its work on child-friendly justice and on child poverty, and migration and asylum during its symposium to launch the Fundamental Rights Report 2017. It will furthermore address inconsistencies when it comes to children’s political participation based on its mapping of minimum age requirements across EU Member States.
