There will be two teams – one with children and another with high-level guests such as the Agency’s Director. The questions will address such issues as migration, jobs and radicalization. The questions will be posed to both teams and the audience, which will also consist of children from all over Europe.
The questions are the result of an online survey launched by UNICEF and Eurochild to gather young Europeans' opinions about the future of Europe and the Europe they want. Over 15,000 children from all across Europe completed the survey.
The Brussels event is being hosted by Antonio Tajani, the European Parliament’s President, Pier Antonio Panzeri, Chair of the Parliament’s Human Rights Subcommittee and the European Parliament Intergroup on Children's Rights. The event aims at celebrating the anniversary of the UN’s Child Rights Convention and at getting young Europeans more involved in public decision making.
