The Agency will speak at a conference on how framing messages on migration are key to today’s policy and public discourse.
The conference will reflect on current communication practices by international organisations, NGOs and civil society when covering migration. It will discuss initiatives on how to frame messages that resonate with audiences and exchange good practices on framing, message-testing and storytelling. FRA’s input will be based on its seminar on how to communicate human rights better.
It will also present examples of how the Agency is working with journalists on developing a media toolkit on coverage of news from a fundamental rights angle. The event will take place on 5 and 6 March in Brussels. It is being organised by Social Change Initiative and Epim (European Programme for Integration and Migration).
