The Agency will discuss its upcoming lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex (LGBTI) survey during ILGA Europe annual conference in Brussels.
During an informal ‘conversation session’, jointly organised with ILGA Europe, FRA will speak with member organisations included in the survey from all 28 EU Member States plus Macedonia. They will be asked to help FRA raise awareness about the survey among their members and then help disseminate the results. They will also be informed about how they will be able to use the outcomes for their national advocacy and policy work.
While at the event, FRA will also discuss the survey with ILGA Europe, representatives of other LGBTI international governmental organisations, including the Council of Europe and some national government representatives. The conference will take place from 24 to 27 October. Over 600 people will attend, representing 500 full member organisations in 45 of the 49 Council of Europe member states.
