FRA, in cooperation with the European Network of Equality Bodies (Equinet), will host a capacity-building workshop on unlawful profiling on 9 October in Nicosia.
The aim of the workshop is to increase knowledge of Equality Bodies on unlawful profiling and how they can contribute to combatting unlawful profiling. The one-day workshop will consist of presenting FRA and Equinet work in this field, selected case law and working on cases.
It will also involve open peer-to-peer discussions on national promising practices in this field.
In addition, FRA will inform participants on its work on hate crime assistance to the authorities, and explore whether and how equality bodies could benefit from FRA’s work on this topic.
