The Finnish Presidency of the Council of the EU has invited FRA’s Director to address EU Justice Ministers during the Justice and Home Affairs Council in Luxembourg on 7 October.
The Director will exchange views with Justice Ministers on fundamental rights challenges in 2020 and beyond.
He will draw on issues raised in a background paper prepared by FRA at the request of the Finnish presidency, including the fundamental rights implications of online hate and an increased reliance on artificial intelligence.
He will also join a discussion on protecting victims of crime.
