FRA discusses Sustainable Development Goals with UN Child Rights Committee

On 15 January, the agency will present its work on the Sustainable Development Goals and child rights to the UN’s Committee on the Rights of the Child.

FRA will focus on the interrelationship between human rights and the Sustainable Development Goals, the principle of leaving no one behind, innovative stakeholders alliances and effectively communicating human rights and SDGs.

It will present examples of relevant data (such as Roma children, violence against children and child poverty). Such data could be used by the Commitee and Member States when reporting on progress made and could feed into national action plans.
