Promoting Holocaust remembrance in Romania

The agency will take part in a session on modernising methods of non-formal education to mark the opening of the National Museum of Jewish History and of the Holocaust in Romania.

This event which takes place on 13 March is co-organised with the Elie Wiesel National Institute for the Study of the Holocaust in Romania and the Ministry of Culture and National Identity.

It aims to support combating Holocaust denial and to promote Holocaust remembrance. Moreover, it will connect representatives of the most relevant governmental museums in Europe that deal with the history of the Holocaust in order to facilitate an exchange of views on the future National Museum of Jewish History and of the Holocaust in Romania.
