EU Roma Working Party to meet

FRA event
The EU Roma Working Party will meet from 10 to 11 June to discuss the next steps in implementing the new EU Roma strategic framework for equality, inclusion and participation. The discussion will focus on process indicators and how to engage further with key stakeholders, such as civil society and equality bodies, in developing, implementing and monitoring national frameworks.

Member States should adopt national strategic frameworks by September 2021, as recommended by the Council and endorsed by all EU Member States on 12 March. The EU Roma Working Party is coordinated by FRA. It brings together National Roma Contact Points, statistical offices, the European Commission to develop monitoring and reporting under the new framework. It also enables good practices and methodologies to be shared.
