On 17 March, FRA will present selected findings from its surveys during the European Forum for Urban Security (EFUS) General Assembly and Annual Conference.

It will draw on its recent ‘Crime, Safety and Victims’ Rights’ report. FRA’s contribution will be part of working group discussions on the role of local and regional authorities to fight crime, particularly hate crime.

The event will explore how local authorities could best mainstream and coordinate their actions.

The discussions will shape the programme of international Security, Democracy & Cities Conference. The conference will take place in Nice on 20-22 October.

EFUS is a network of cities in Europe dedicated to urban security, involving more than 250 local and regional authorities.
