It is part of their biennial FRA-Council of Europe Senior Management dialogues to discuss how to further strengthen cooperation.
The purpose of the meeting is to exchange views on respective current and future priorities. In particular, they will look at how FRA data could be used by the Council of Europe’s monitoring procedures.
It will address the impact of the war in Ukraine on human rights in the European Union. They will also discuss mutually supportive work in areas such as upholding rights in managing migration, tackling inequality and discrimination, focusing on the inclusion of Roma and Travellers, human rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex (LGBTI) people, the rule of law and civil society in Europe.
