Together with the children’s rights sections of the Council of Europe (CoE) and the European Commission, FRA is working on raising awareness of the CoE’s Guidelines on Child-friendly Justice.
The awareness raising among interview partners is part of the agency’s project on children and justice. Interview partners who will disseminate further include professionals who work with children involved in justice proceedings, such as judges, lawyers, law enforcement officials, prosecutors, psychologists, social workers, staff of social service providers and NGOs. Countries covered in the project are: Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Poland, Romania, Spain and United Kingdom. You can find more information at the Council of Europe webpage Building a Europe for and with children.
