On 5 June, a seminar on FRA's EU LGBT survey was held in the Finnish Parliament in Helsinki to examine how the findings apply to the national context.
The event was jointly organised by the Finnish Ministry of Justice, the Human Rights Centre (the Finnish national human rights institution) and the NGO-umbrella organisation for LGBTI-people, SETA. Representatives of the government, civil society, academia and students participated in the seminar. FRA presented and discussed Finnish data from the survey. Governmental and policy needs were identified and discussed by the event participants.
