FRA has developed new online material to support its work on child rights.
This includes a new video with information about FRA’s project on Children with disabilities: targeted violence and hostility. This project looks at hostility, including violence, towards children with disabilities across the 28 EU Member States. It identifies the legal and policy framework, statistical data and assistance programs.
The study is also a chance to showcase examples of promising practices of how some Member States are addressing the problem. The results of the report, which will be launched at the end of this year, should help EU Institutions and Member States to tackle this phenomenon.
A brochure explaining key elements of child-friendly justice to children is also now available on the website. This brochure is part of a new child-friendly section on the FRA website which illustrates child rights in a language suited to children.
