FRA spoke of the need for more sustained efforts at the national and international level to improve data collection on antisemitism and other forms of hatred and prejudice. This would enable EU Member States to combat such phenomena more effectively. The expert group, which is composed of government officials of all 28 Member States, is a platform to exchange experiences on the implementation of the Framework Decision on combating racism and xenophobia.

FRA presented its report ‘Antisemitism - Overview of data available in the European Union 2004-2014’ during the meeting of the European Commission expert group on combating racism and xenophobia on 16 November in Brussels.
